Status
Real-world things are crazy for me lately. I've been busy taking care of my mom and the dogs lately; we found out about a week or two ago that my mom has cancer, but they don't know where exactly it is. I was a little worried earlier on since she was in a lot of pain and kept coming in and out of the hospital, but she seems better for now, and that's good. If anything, I feel a little bad that she isn't allowed to kiss the dogs anymore now that she's started chemotherapy. That's pretty trivial, though.I also bought myself Aseprite and I've been messing around in RPG Maker VX Ace and OpenUtau. I'm hoping to pick back up on making music (unsure if I'll keep using GarageBand) and start exploring game development. Obviously, I'm still very much a noob at everything, but I'm sure I'll find something there.I keep saying it, but I hope to eventually get back into character design sales if not comissions outright. I'm having trouble maintaining the amount of "oomph" needed for me to professionally interact with people regarding my art-based services, as you can probably tell based on my inactivity on Toyhouse. I'll have to get back on there eventually so I can make more consistent money, but for now, I'm not really active there.I might virtually enroll in college at some point in the next year or two.Also, if anyone cares, I've settled on Halberd Aswang as a sort of professional alias. If you require a more realistic name to credit me as or refer to me with than any of my screen names, that is what I choose to go by.

Nice to meet you! I'm Halberd Aswang. I'm Filipino-American, intersex, and epicene. My pronouns are he/him, they/them, it/its, or none at all. You can read more about the way I like being referred to on my Pronouns.page.I am mainly an artist and character designer. Aside from that, I also like to play video games, create videos, listen to music, write about stuff, and do unfunny things online.If you know me at all, you may recognize me as a contributor to Open Source Objects (intro frame #131), as the founder of r/YoekoKurahashi, or as a generally high-ranking Muse Dash player (see musedash.moe). Or you may not! I keep mostly to myself.

They are of varying quality as of this moment, but I intend to replace them with entirely high quality work later on once I create more images with fitting palettes.
Interests
While I do enjoy the things listed here, I consider myself critical of my interests and do not mind discussing the negative aspects of them because I am aware that none of them are perfect (and some are not very good at all to begin with, honestly).I have chosen to only list a portion of my interests in order to prevent clutter, though it's obvious I have still listed a lot of them.
